2021 WA State Election - Dawesville

Sustainable Australia Party

Sustainable Australia Party is an independent community movement from the political centre, with a positive plan for an economically, environmentally and socially sustainable Australia. We believe in a science and evidence-based approach to policy - not an extreme left or right ideology.

Karen Oborn

Karen is a long-time local resident in the Peel region. She is also a small business owner and community volunteer. She has graduate qualifications in Social Science and post-graduate qualifications in environmental management. In addition, Karen is a voluntary board member for two not for profit organisations; focused on building community capacity and resilience, through a range of Arts, Cultural and Heritage programs.

Karen is also a committed mother and wife, who is immensely proud and supportive of her family’s service and achievements through their work within the local government sector and the WA Police. Her pastimes include recreational fishing and kayaking, and running her Artisan Space.
