James Minson

James is a trained Electrical Engineer and Computer Scientist, with an expertise in designing Renewable Generation Projects in Western Australia. He has worked with the Australian Energy Market Operator and Western Power on regulatory matters and understands the infrastructure changes required to decentralise and make the South West Electrical Grid sustainable.

James is an active member of the Australian Defence Reserves and is nicknamed by the Officer Core as a “Heat Seeker”. James intends to bring the Army’s values of Service, Courage and Integrity into the political sphere.

James is a firm believer in Western Australia’s potential to transition from a hollow population growth economic model to one of sustainable growth that promotes better outcomes in health, economic prosperity and life satisfaction.
