Sustainable Australia Party launches its campaign for a seat in the WA Upper House this Sunday afternoon in Mandurah, aiming to emulate the Upper House success the party had in Victoria in 2018.
Sustainable Australia Party WA Organiser and South West Region candidate Daniel Minson said ”With 20 candidates running. including groups in all Upper House regions, every West Australian will have the chance to vote to protect our environment, stop overdevelopment and stop corruption.”
“The 2021 WA election will offer a real opportunity for local communities to have their say on planning and environment issues that affect their neighbourhood and quality of life. To achieve this, we must immediately ban all political donations from property developers and return real planning powers to local communities through council-managed community engagement including citizen juries.”
“We need to put people and the environment before property developer profit,” Mr Minson added.
