Michael McLaren is joined by William Bourke, President of the Sustainable Australia Party, to comment on the RBA’s report that the pause in immigration due to the COVID-19 pandemic will lead to higher living standards in Australia and could spark wage rises in some regions and industries.
In its quarterly statement on monetary policy last week, the RBA noted, “The Australian economy is transitioning from recovery to expansion phase earlier and with more momentum than anticipated...”
