Sustainable Australia Party (VIC) invites you to an Eastern Metropolitan Region letterboxing and social event in Glen Waverley on the first Sunday in February.

Did you know the Suburban Rail Loop Act 2021, which came into effect in December, gives the SRL Authority & Labor State Government planning control over a 1600m radius from each Suburban Rail Loop Station? Council, residents, and businesses no longer have any rights to object to planning decisions made by the SRL Authority.

Sustainable Australia Party MP Clifford Hayes spoke against the legislation in the Legislative Council, calling it "the crowing piece in a relentless assault on thoughtful and democratic planning the likes of which we've never seen before in Victoria."

Eastern Metropolitan members Lynnette Saloumi and John Walker will co-host this event. Meet them in the RSL carpark opposite Glen Waverley train station at 2pm to collect your flyers and map, then do 60-90 minutes of letterboxing before adjourning to the RSL where refreshments can be purchased.

NB You may need photo ID to enter the RSL. If you are driving, be mindful of parking restrictions as they are strictly enforced.
