To help achieve a fair and sustainable Australia, SAP prioritises the fight for affordable housing now, the sustainable way.

Unlike the Liberals, Nationals, Labor, Greens, One Nation and Teals, SAP tackles all the major supply and demand-side issues to sustainably solve the housing crisis, stop over-development, and protect our local environments and communities.

SAP's housing plan will deliver:

  • Lower rents
  • No stamp duty
  • Slower migration
  • More social housing

Western Victoria Region Lead Candidate - Madeleine Wearne

For a fair and sustainable Australia

Madeleine has a lifelong interest in the natural environment and has bought, revegetated and managed a range of conservation properties. Madeleine has established many likeminded contacts through both her professional and personal involvement with a variety of local, national and international environmental and humanitarian organisations. Through these contacts, she has determined that many people share her concerns about over-development, unsustainable population growth and loss of biodiversity. She is determined to also highlight the issue of affordable and plentiful housing.

Madeleine currently lives in south west Victoria. Together with her partner, they are running a business in regenerative agriculture as well as branching out and researching and revegetating their private wetland. Madeleine is busy making contacts and volunteering in a variety of local social and environmental projects.
