South Australia

The next South Australian state election is on Saturday 19 March 2022.

The next South Australian local government (council) election is in November 2022.

Sustainable Australia Party is registering as the 'SA Party' in SA.

We needed to recruit 100 new members in August/September 2021 in order to register for the upcoming SA elections... and we did it!

Our application for SA registration with over 200 SA members was lodged on 16 September 2021!

Sustainable Australia Party (SA) | SA Party

Sustainable Australia Party is an independent community movement from the political centre, with a positive plan for an economically, environmentally and socially sustainable Australia. We believe in a science and evidence-based approach to policy - not a left or right wing ideology.

Our plan?

  • Protect our environment
  • Stop overdevelopment
  • Stop corruption

And much more...

See our comprehensive policy platform.

SA branches

Local branches of Sustainable Australia Party primarily exist to:

  • Bring together like-minded people
  • Organise public events including local markets, community festivals and letterbox distribution (particularly around major overdevelopment sites)
  • Grow local membership
  • Contest local, state and federal elections

Sustainable Australia Party members are automatically members of their state / territory / local SAP branch.

Branch communication

First, review the recent comments in your local branch page (if it exists) to see what is happening.

The main branch activity is our first-Sunday-of-the-month letterboxing and social meetup event (from 3-5pm). We welcome your suggestion for these events on your branch page in the 'comments' section.
