NSW 2019 State Election

BREAKING: We missed out on the NSW Upper House...

The NSW State election saw major increases in our vote in local seats. We broke through the 4 per cent barrier for the first time, in places like Albury (7.0%), Cessnock (5.3%), Londonderry (4.2%), Port Macquarie (5.4%), Shellharbour (5.9%) and Wollongong (4.4%). Unfortunately we just missed out on an Upper House seat.

Sustainable Australia is registered to contest the state election on 23 March 2019.

Sustainable Australia is campaigning for secure jobs, affordable housing, better planning, and a sustainable environment and population. In particular, our New South Wales election campaign will focus on better planning to stop overdevelopment:

How can we achieve better planning to STOP overdevelopment?

For starters, return real planning power to local communities, deliver new community infrastructure before more housing and reduce population pressures by lowering Australia's annual immigration intake from 200,000 back to the long term average of 70,000.
