    Dear Melburnians,

I will be hosting a combined monthly social meet-up and Batman campaign launch on Sunday 4 March in the centre of the Batman electorate. It also gives us an opportunity to talk about our VIC State party plans for the November election.

Where? The Stolberg, 197 Plenty Rd (corner of Bell St), Preston (Stolberg Room)
    When? 3-5pm

    All welcome. Will you come?

We will also be emailing (just) our VIC members and supporters early next week to advise how you can get involved in letterboxing in the week commencing 26/3. I’ll have the Voter Van situated in Batman for this purpose.

    R
    William

I am hoping to be there for the March meet-up to help fast track the VIC party registration. If we run in Batman it will be doubly important. Stay tuned. William

    Ok see you there

March meetup sounds fine if there is not a group already.

If anything committee would like to work on and need anyone to help with let me know. It really would be great if there was a coordinated way where people could have an outlet and help.

By the way I’m in the Batman seat, so maybe if Sustainable Australia could shave some votes either way it could effect the seat perhaps. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-02-01/what-david-feeneys-resignation-means-for-melbourne-seat-batman/9382504
Labour only won the seat last year by 1853 votes. That is not that many minds to change.

The by-election is in Q1 2018 apparently so not much time to prep if you decide to take part.

    Hi Mark, Anthony et al.,
My mother Sue and I, both members of the VIC committee, will be at the Republic Cafe today from 2pm onwards until 4pm. Anyone who wishes to join us would be most welcome.

Hi Mark and Anthony, the VIC committee has not organised anything, however, please feel free to confirm that you will meet tomorrow at 3pm (at the same venue). Others may then decide to join you. Thanks, SA

Haven’t heard anything either Mark. I went to the last Melbourne meetup in November and the talk was that the next one was going to be in February.
