Please send a message to us with event details through the ‘contact us’ link on our website and we’ll come back to you with an appropriate contact. Kind regards, SAP

I think it’s a great idea – even though we can’t mske it. But a reschedule of the local meeting means we can probably make that one.

    Dear Central Coast Local Group,

I understand that you are looking to hold a meeting on the 3rd February. I would suggest that in lieu of a local meeting on 3rd February, all members are come along to the NSW election campaign launch in Sydney. Please make sure to RSVP. To find out further details and to RSVP, please follow this link: www.sustainableaustralia.org.au/nsw_election_2019_campaign_launch

Feel free to use this page to discuss as to whether this is possible for everyone to do.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Michael,

It would be ideal to meet somewhere with no cost. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi Kerry, coast bar sounds nice, ikeep coming back to the sailing club as it is not only a restraunt. The other alternatives are the clubs. The meeting time would be 3pm but that could be flexible .Your thoughts.

Just a suggestion. Have we decided on a time & location yet then? We do have another commitment but might be able to come to the meeting too

Been on the coast bar website, it seems it’s more a restaunt than a meeting place where you can chat and maybe have a drink. I’m easy either way, not sure what other people think.

6th Jan sounds like a plan – but have you considered a change of venue maybe, Coast Bar (used to be Igunana’s)? Lovely atmosphere – and they reckon a change is as good as a holiday.

Hi coasties ,is there anyone interested out there in having a meeting at the Gosford sailing club on Sunday 6 Jan. I know this is a bad time so close to Christmas, but if we can get enough people we can go ahead.
As you might be aware next year is a big year for SA with the elections coming up in March and there is no reason we won’t do well in NSW, but it will mean a bit of serious work before hand.
Mark Ferris SA coordinator has sent members an email outlining what he would like to come from the meeting, hopefully you all received the email,if not we can talk about it at the next meeting. Briefly it’s to brainstorm non-expensive ways to advertise and grow public engagement.
One of SA main messages is better planning to stop over -devlopment ,which I think is very appropriate for the central coast.
Myself and a new member will be able to attend the meeting. If nobody can make the meeting being close to Christmas, we can always make it the following weekend. The elections are in March so we haven’t got a lot of time.
I will finish up now and see what response I get.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and happy New Year. Could be a SA year.

PS I have just seen Marks post.

    Hi Coasties,

It would be great if you could have a meeting on Sunday, 6th January. Leading up to the NSW March election we would like local groups to:
*Host Sustainable Australia stalls at local markets
*Hand out flyers at train stations or outside shopping centres
*letterbox as many housed in their area as possible
*brainstorm other non-expensive ways to advertise and grow public engagement

See if you can go into the meeting with some ideas regarding the above points, and ideally come out of the meeting with some solid objectives to implement.

Note that our main message for the NSW 2019 election will be “Better planning to stop over-development”. This was the catch cry for the Victorian election and was well received throughout the campaign.

    Cheers,

    Mark
