Local Branches - ACT

Interested to get involved?

First, review the recent comments in your local branch page (if it exists) to see what is happening. If no local branch page exists, make a 'comment' below on this page and ask for one to be created (noting your LGA area).*

The main purpose of branches is to create public-facing events, such as stalls at local community markets and festivals, and contest elections. On an existing page, you can create an event via the relevant branch page 'comments' section.

Branch communications guide

Follow the official branch communications process for events and strategy / messaging here.

Click on the relevant local branch from the list below:

*Note, due to the absence of LGAs in the ACT, there is only one ACT local branch - 'Canberra'.

We will set up local branches by ACT Community Council area in the future if supported by members.

The ACT branch will be holding a stall at the Trash and Treasure Market at the Jamison Centre carpark in Macquarie on Sunday 1 September from 7:00am to 12:30pm. We will shortly be posting an event on the Events page of our website so that members can RSVP or volunteer. John Haydon

    Hi John,

A local branch page for ACT has been set up. Please ‘follow reactions’ on the ACT page and let us know if you would like to hold a local branch meeting or event.
