House of Representatives (Lower House)
Brandon Hoult
Brandon Hoult was born at Sandringham Hospital and has lived in the Goldstein electorate his whole life. He is passionate about protecting our local environment, leafy areas, native animals and birdlife. Stopping overdevelopment of high-rise apartments is an important part of this objective. Brandon supports better local democracy including greater community say in the character of their neighbourhood.
Brandon also supports more investment in public transport, particularly train services. He would like to see stronger action on climate change by continuing Australia's uptake of renewable energy.
Brandon was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 1995 and is therefore very supportive of our universal health care system. He is also an advocate for men's health and has participated in Movember to raise funds for prostate cancer research and depression.
Brandon enjoys AFL and AFLW football. He also enjoys live music and is a movie buff.
