Federal Election 2019 - Hotham

Dennis Bilic

Melbourne, VIC

Dennis is Melbourne born and bred, growing up in the western suburbs but now living just south of the city. He's served in the Australian Army reserve, has a commerce degree (Deakin University), and a Masters of Strategic Foresight (Swinburne University). The latter providing him with the knowledge and tools to address the complex, long-term issues we now face. He sees the inextricable links between politics, economics, environment, technology and social change. He values quality of life for all and is always striving to learn more and make a positive impact.

Dennis currently works as a management consultant with Jacobs Australia, specialising in project management and stakeholder engagement. He also plays guitar, sings, enjoys science fiction and is writing a children's book.

Frustrated by the short term focus in Australian politics, Dennis has been motivated to get involved with the future-focused, Sustainable Australia, having his first run in the 2018 Victorian state election in the seat of Prahran.

Dennis is passionate and pragmatic. He strives to understand issues objectively and is always keen to hear from the community about the issues they're facing and what could be done.
