Blacktown 2023 - Sustainable Australia Party

Legislative Assembly (Lower House)

Blacktown candidate - Patrick Murphy

Patrick has lived in Greater Sydney for most of his adult life. He lives with his wife, and they have two adult children. He has always been connected to the local community, through the sharing of ideas and increasing awareness around issues that need to be addressed for the betterment of the quality of life.

Patrick claims there is a complete absence of vision and lack of will to make a difference, by our politicians; they will sell their art to the highest bidder, for personal gain. This must change now. As a builder and Qualified Supervisor (QS), he has worked at the coal face of the ‘built environment’ and seen how changes to DA approvals have incrementally changed in favour of the developer – not the community, hence enough is enough, he says, and will take a position to represent the community and put a case for a ‘holistic’ approach to creating a more liveable environment.

Patrick says, art, sport, and discovery, are essential human values. He has produced pro-am theatre for 3 years and, is particularly passionate about developing his writing skills where he hopes to do some ‘research and report’ work for educational purposes.

Patrick is campaigning to protect our environment, stop overdevelopment and stop corruption.
