The truck is fantastic and EXACTLY what’s needed. Having spread the word about the destruction of Australian native forests using the Nativesrule campaign truck and the Nativesrule ‘secret weapon’ – a ‘live’ Tasmanian Tiger – I am in a position to know how people react to a good cause that comes to them, especially when they are not necessarily computer savvy or able to access internet easily in the country given reception issues.

I don’t know if you have access to equipment for showing film where you set down but there are ways and means of doing this that can bring good crowds when you are in particular places.

People love to discuss what they feel passionate about. About 1 in 10 people I would speak with while on campaigns to highlight the issue of taxpayer payer funded native forest environmental destruction and economic loss (to taxpayers, not big corporations), would link the ‘resource rip off’ issue to the absurdity of attempting to protect the environment or Australia’s resources when demand exceeds supply and simply will not accommodate environmental sustainability.

Congratulations on the smart look of the truck. The vibe is good. Great initiative. It gives people confidence to see a group that will take the message where it needs to go not just at election time. It lends credibility.
